GREAT FALLS â A tradition in March since the 1960s, Western Art Week turns Great Falls into the Western Art Capital of The World. Now due to COVID-19 restrictions people will get a double dose, with a special edition week added in August.
Western Art Week is doubling-up for 2021
The first round of Western Art Week is March 18-21 with a scaled-down line-up. The first round of shows will be on display at the CM Russell Museum, Elk s Lodge, Heritage Inn, and Dark Horse Wine Snug in Celtic Cowboy. Then the special edition shows will be held during the third week in August, with 16 shows scheduled.

Truman partners with Complete Family Medicine for expanded student services

Truman State University students will soon have access to expanded physical and mental health care services thanks to a new partnership with a local provider.
Starting March 8, Complete Family Medicine will oversee operations of both the Student Health Center and University Counseling Services. As a subsidiary of Hannibal Regional Healthcare Systems, a non-profit agency, CFM has the capacity to offer additional resources to students, such as expanded hours, increased access to a physician and access to off-site providers when needed.
“Physical and mental well-being are cornerstones of a successful student experience,” said Truman President Susan Thomas in a press release issued Wednesday. “By partnering with a professional, non-profit health care provider, we will be able to offer enhanced services to support our students’ needs.”
Tammy Carpenter visited the Pip Moyer Recreation Center for the first time Tuesday to pick up pounds of free venison. She plans to make spaghetti sauce and meatloaf.
