El Pasoans Fighting Hunger providing meals, water to organizations helping migrants EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) As the immigration surge continues at the U.S. Southwest border, local organizations are finding unique ways to help the migrant population in the El Paso community. The El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank is working with half a dozen immigration organizations to provide meals, water and other items. The food bank did similar work during the last immigration surge in 2018 and 2019. “We feel very strongly that everyone deserves meals because they are human and it’s our job to help provide them,” said CEO Susan Goodell.
