Death Toll of Kabul’s Attack on MP Rises to 10
First Vice President Amrullah Saleh on Monday said that at least 10 people were killed and 52 others were wounded in Sunday’s car bomb attack on the convoy of an Afghan MP in Kabul.
“Only six of the wounded remained at the hospital and most of them have been discharged,” Saleh said.
On Sunday, a car bomb targeted the vehicle of Haji Khan Mohammad Wardak, a member of parliament from Kabul. Wardak survived the attack.
The explosion happened in Spin Kalay square in PD5 of the city while the convoy of MP Wardak was passing the area, according to the officials.

KABUL: A bomb blast that rocked Kabul, the capital city on Sunday morning killed at least nine people, the Interior Ministry said. The explosion happened in Spin Kalay square in PD 5th of the city, in which 20 more injured, including women and children.
Speaking to the reporters at the site of the attack, Interior Minister Masoud Andarabi said that the blast wounded 20 other people, including a Member of Parliament, Khan Mohammad Wardak. He survived the attack against his carven and he is in “good condition”, the minister added.

NOWSHERA: On the direction of Advisor to Chief Minister on Food Mian Khaliqur Rahman mobile distribution of subsidised wheat flour was carried out in various union councils and village councils of Nowshera district.
The subsidized wheat flour at the rate of Rs860 was distributed in Spin Kalay, Waliy Killay, Kaka Sahib, Maniy Killay, Khairabad and Nizampur under the supervision of District Food Controller Sher Fayaz Khan.
Sher Fayaz said that the distribution was meant to provide relief to the people in the present scenario of inflation when the prices of flour in the market were high and were getting out of the reach of the underprivileged segments.

At least nine people killed and 15 others injured after an explosion rocked Kabul on Sunday, police in the Afghan capital confirmed.
The explosion took place in the city s Spin Kalay square in Police District 5 (PD5), reports Khaama Press.
Ferdaws Faramarz, deputy spokesman of the Interior Ministry, said three vehicles caught fire at the location of the blast, but the cause remains unclear.
The explosion targeted the vehicle of Haji Khan Mohammad Wardak, a member of parliament from Kabul.
