Fingal County Council is to seek feedback from the Department of Rural and Community Development to determine why applicants were unsuccessful for the recent Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
The move follows a question put forward by Fianna Fáil councillor, Adrian Henchy at a recent Local Area Committee meeting, which called for a review and evaluation of recent unsuccessful Town and Village Renewal Scheme applications.
The council, in its reply, stated the Economic, Enterprise, Tourism & Cultural Development Department submits project applications on behalf of project promoters under the annual Town and Village Renewal Scheme, which is administered by the Department of Rural and Community Development.
