NEW DELHI: The Union Ministry of Civil Aviation on Wednesday released updated guidelines for the international passengers coming to India in view of the rising cases of the South Africa and Brazil mutant strain of Covid-19 in India. The updated Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) will come into effect at 11: 59 PM on February 22.
The SOP has been prepared by the Ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW).
Indian government has issued new guidelines for passengers arriving from/transiting through flights originating in the UK, Europe or the Middle East, which will come into force from February 23.
