Jagananna Colonies Will Start Taking Shape From June 1

May 05, 2021, 17:49 IST AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting on Navaratnalu - Pedalandariki Illu and said construction of houses in Jagananna colonies will start on June 1. During the review meeting held at camp office here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the process for grounding the works by May 25. He said the works should not be stopped because of curfew and activities should be held from 6 AM to 12 PM. He said water and electricity facilities should be provided in the colonies immediately as they are important to start construction. He said a model house should be construed in every layout and a detailed report on it should be generated later. The details on expenditure, savings, modifications and other issues can be reviewed based on the reports. He said the usage of steel will be reduced due to COVID which might result in decrease of prices and added that the state need 7.50 lakh t

Apr 30, 2021, 12:11 IST AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Government will launch CLAP (Clean Andhra Pradesh) Jagananna Swachha Sankalpam programme on July 8 marking the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. During the review meeting held on Swachha Sankalpam, YSR Jala Kala, Jal Jeevan Mission, Jagananna Palle Velugu and construction roads in villages at camp officer here on Thursday, the Chief Minister said Sanitation at rural and urban areas is very important and directed the officials to ensure no sewage in the villages and added to focus on slums. He said to focus on sewage pumping and disposing of the water safely. Sewage water must be sent to treatment plants, he said and added to prepare an SOP on how to dispose of solid waste. COVID Control, Welfare Schemes Mark AP Governance in April Apr 30, 2021, 15:07 IST AMARAVATI: The month of April was marked as a month of welfare by successfully implementing schemes like Vidya Deevena, Vasati Deevena, Sunna Vaddi for both farmers and women besides facing new challenges like vaccination, controlling COVID-19 and Tirupati by-poll. Boosting up confidence in the times of second wave of pandemic, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started the month by taking the first dose of Covid Vaccination and launching the massive vaccination drive in village and ward secretariats.
