Carla Dowling, 45, of Sutton Road, Southend and Lorraine Perry formally known as Moore, 30, of Appleford Court, Basildon are standing trial at Basildon Crown Court charged with damage to property and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The court heard the two women pulled up in a car next to the victim and his mother at a set of traffic lights in Southend on March 20, 2019. They then exited the vehicle and launched an attack on the car, before attacking the victim.

Plymouth development company Sutton Harbour Group Plc has paid nearly £2million for a patch of land near the waterfront so it can build multiple blocks of flats.
The AIM-listed company, which owns the long-lease on Plymouthâs closed city airport, revealed the purchase of about 1.5 acres of land to the east of Sutton Harbor had helped increase the overall value of its investment portfolio to £49.245million.
In an update for investors the company said its investment and owner-occupied property portfolio was valued by independent valuers in March 2021 and had increased by £3.26million in the past 14 months.

Firefighters took over two hours to deal with a “well-developed” fire at a warehouse.
Crews were called to the building on Sutton Road in Wisbech today (Tuesday) when they found the blaze was spreading.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 12.03am on Tuesday, crews from Wisbech along with a crew from Long Sutton were called to a fire on Sutton Road.
“Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a warehouse building containing tyres, which was spreading to nearby hedges.
