Zihnan Temple management committee director Chuang Chiu-an holds a “mother coin” for the Year of the Ox at a news conference in Nantou County’s Jhushan Township yesterday. The Earth God temple plans to distribute the special coins, which are believed to attract wealth throughout the year, to worshipers before 11am on Friday, Chuang said.
