Fourth of July events happening in Western Oregon
This Independence Day weekend is the first weekend since Oregon has fully reopened.

WESTERN ORE. - Several events around Western Oregon are celebrating America s birthday this fourth of July.
In Eugene, the Pro Rodeo is taking place at 7:30 p.m. with a fireworks celebration at 10:00 p.m.
Crewell s celebration is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is focusing on a decoration contest, the presentation of the Flag by the Boy Scouts and static airplane displays. There will also be a show-n-shine car show and military jet flyover.

Fishing is free across the state of Oregon this weekend. For Saturday and Sunday, no fishing licenses or tags are required to fish, crab or clam, according to the state Department ofFish and Wildlife. This comes after several ponds in the Willamette Valley were stocked for the last time this season. ODFW says fishing for the stocked trout is a good place for beginners to start.
