WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. An innovative 5G “living lab” center called NineTwelve Convergence features state-of-the-art 5G networking and wireless connectivity where companies can partner with Purdue University, SBA Communications, NineTwelve and others will open in June in Purdue’s Discovery Park District, officials announced Tuesday (Feb. 9).

WASHINGTON â U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, incoming Chair of the Senate Armed Services Personnel Subcommittee, recently announced her nominations for candidates from the Capital Region to two of the nationâs leading service institutions: the United States Military and Air Force Academies.
This year, Gillibrand nominated four candidates from the Capital Region to the service academies.
The local nominees are Micaela Choi of Ballston Lake and Jack Murphy of Clifton Park for the U.S. Military Academy and Sean Hendricks of Rexford and Jack Schiavo of Niskayuna for the U.S. Air Force Academy.

This virtual event will consist of several of the nation’s top 5G experts discussing the industry and a variety of other 5G-related topics. The event is free and open to the public.
Sean Hendrix, executive director of the Indiana 5G Zone stated, “These quarterly events will focus on different topics surrounding 5G and allow the public and those working in related fields to hear from experts in the area and ask them questions.”
