MAI Capital acquires Florida firm MWM Investment Consulting

MAI Capital Management has announced the acquisition of MWM Investment Consulting, a Naples, Fla.-based registered investment advisor (RIA) that adds about $100 million in assets under management (AUM) to MAI.
Financial terms of the deal, which enhances MAI s presence in the Florida market, were not disclosed.
MWM was founded in 2009 by Matthew Mathias, who joins MAI as a regional president and managing director with the acquisition. MWM senior vice president Richard Beebe joins MAI as a senior wealth adviser and managing director.
