Boyd is back for a second stint with the Ballybofey club after playing for half-a-season in 2019.
He has made three appearances this season all off the bench, but may get a starting berth against Longford Town on Tuesday night.

“I’m feeling alright but I’ll just have to be patient,” he told the Donegal News.
“Adam (Foley) has obviously had an unbelievable start to the season and he has been playing really well.”

A young dad who became addicted to cannabis while working in the Netherlands, carried on with his habit after returning to Merseyside. The court heard how Sean Boyd - of Walker Close, Formby - became addicted to the drug leading to him building up a debt to his suppliers and becoming a dealer.
The court heard how he was working for Amazon but fell out of work because of the pandemic. Boyd, a father of a three month old baby, received a jail sentence on Thursday (April 8) but the eight month term was suspended for 18 months.

Mayor Breea Clark has decided against calling a special election for the Ward 2 vacancy, she told The Transcript Thursday.
The seat is empty after newly-elected Matt McGarry resigned weeks after the Feb. 2021 election to accept a position at an Ivy League institution, The Transcript reported.
Available dates for a special election are in September or November, with the regularly scheduled election just around the corner in Feb. 2022.
Clark said that option is not a timely one.
