Writer David Schulner’s
Clone comic book series is making its way to the small screen, though not in the way some fans might expect. According to Variety, Skybound Galactic and Sony Pictures Television are partnering with Italy’s Fabula to produce an Italian-language adaptation of the series for TV.
Schulner and artist Juan Jose Ryp launched
Clone through Skybound and Image Comics in 2012. The series centers on Luke Taylor, who gets the shock of his life when he stumbles upon an identical (and bloody) clone of himself. The clone tells him that other clones like him are in a race to capture Luke’s pregnant wife and his unborn child. Unfortunately, he doesn’t tell him why.

Robert Kirkman Knows Violence, But Does The Belong With Universal Monsters?
Invincible creator Robert Kirkman has opened up about Universal Pictures’ upcoming
Renfield movie, which is one of the many monster projects currently in development. Kirkman, who is serving as a producer on the project, has confirmed that
Renfield is being developed as a comedy with a heavy dose of violence, which fans will find somewhat similar to his popular animated series on Amazon Prime.
“We’re doing this cool movie for Universal that’s a focus on Renfield,” Kirkman said. “It’s a story about him being Dracula’s henchman and how shitty a job that is. It’s a fun, extremely violent comedy because I’ve got a crutch, and it’s violence.”

Not many details have been made available about the film so far, so the little bit that Kirkman revealed is about as much as we ve heard since it went into development with Universal, who are looking to expand their Universal Monsters film line.
