Zero carbon buildings graced the inaugural expo held at the National Convention & Exhibition Center (Tianjin) from June 24 to 27.
The China Building Science Conference and Green Intelligent Building Expo saw featured products and services from some 500 domestic and foreign providers across the entire chain of building industries, exhibition products, materials and applications with innovative, conservation-savvy and eco-friendly components.
The exhibition took place in the first phase of the center with an indoor area of 200,000 square meters and hosted 150,000 visitors over the four-day event.

One of Chinaâs tallest skyscrapers began shaking mysteriously.
Residents of one of the tallest skyscrapers in China â the 980ft SEG Plaza, were evacuated after it began mysteriously shaking. The people were running for safety while the building was swinging. As Daily Mail reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday at around 1 pm. in the city of Shenzhen.

Although many believed there was an earthquake, authorities claimed that no earthquakes have been recorded at the time.
At 2:40 pm, about two hours after the unusual activity began, the 79-story skyscraper was closed down. Currently, emergency teams are looking for the actual cause of the sudden shake.

A statement on the social media platform Weibo said: “After checking and analysing the data of various earthquake monitoring stations across the city, there was no earthquake in Shenzhen today.” The wind was also ruled out as a cause. Officials added that no safety abnormalities were found in the main structure and there was no damage. No one was hurt in the evacuation. Engineer Lu Jianxin from China Construction Science and Industry, told the newspaper
Shenzhen Special Zone Daily that “resonance” effects could have caused the shaking. “If there was no earthquake today, it would be unusual for SEG Plaza to have such a situation,” Lu was quoted as saying, reports the
