Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Malaysians have been stepping up to help those in need wherever and whenever they can.
Some have been providing provisions and food to underprivileged communities, while others are banding together to donate medical equipment to hospitals in need.
In May, Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia launched its Covid-19 Solidarity Fund to collect money for medical equipment such as ventilators, beds, masks, and nasal cannulas for hospitals.

SHARP Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd (Sharp) is aiming to raise over RM1mil through its Malaysia Tabah 2021 initiative in support of those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
For each RM50 donation it receives, Sharp gives away specially commissioned desktop calendars featuring photographs taken by media organisations, including Star Media Group, that document the pandemic in the country.
Since the launch in December, Sharp has managed to raise over half the targeted amount, thanks to the generosity of its dealer network and customer base.
