PORTSMOUTH Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 24th Annual Cisco Brewers Portsmouth Memorial Day 5K will be presented as a fully virtual race in 2021.
The Memorial Day 5K, one of the largest and long-standing road races on the Seacoast, will be a fun week-long event allowing participants to remain safe while supporting the brain injury survivor community. Participants are encouraged to “5K Their Way” between Sunday, May 23 and Sunday, May 30. Organizers have developed new offerings this year to enhance the participant experience and grow the event’s success as a fundraiser for Krempels Center.
All participants can download a free mobile app to track their progress, receive fun, supportive audio cheers, and automatically submit their results.
There are many things that have come out of the pandemic that I really do like. It s the I have to find the silver lining in everything part of me. One of those things is the ability for everyone to participate in supporting a good cause even if they are not able to join in person. Such is the case with the Cisco Brewers Portsmouth Memorial Day 5K.
On Sunday, May 23 - Sunday May 30th, you can run the 5K to support the Kremples Center in Portsmouth. If you don t know about the Kremples Center, they are a non-profit organization for the benefit of those living with brain injury. Here s more about them from their website:
