PASIG CITY, April 25 (PIA) The Philippine Navy recently opened community pantries to help in need in this time of pandemic.
According to the Philippine Navy, in its humble way, its version of community pantry with essential goods, aids our kababayans who live nearby the Navy headquarters along Roxas Boulevard in Manila who are greatly affected by the ongoing pandemic.
Likewise, the Navy through its Civil Military Operations Group opened a pantry at the Bonifacio Naval Station in Taguig City.
Some 200 residents from Sitio New Pag-asa Western Bicutan were able to receive one kilo of rice, bottled water, canned goods, diapers, and hygiene kit packs. Similar initiatives were also conducted by other naval units nationwide.
