Sydney Roasting Co. brings all-day locally roasted coffee to Lebanon
With the opening of Sydney Roasting Co, locally roasted coffee is available at the crack of dawn and into the evening alike in Lebanon.
Located at 12 N. 9th St., Sydney is open seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. It replaces the now-defunct Wrinkle and Boon, itself only 2 years old at the time of its closure.
Zanetta Kok, who co-owns the cafe with her husband, Kenny, not only has hopes that Sydney is not just here to stay, but dreams that one day it will become a national chain.
Star Journal Hodag boys win on senior night
Kirk Mathews blocks a shot in the second half.
Thursday night the Hodag boys hosted the Antigo Red Robins for the last conference game of the season. The Hodags had defeated the Red Robins in Antigo earlier in the season 73-33 and were hoping to duplicate that feat. Coach Derek Lemmens started all seniors on senior night as the seven seniors were honored before the game.
The game was up and down as the Hodags scored several threes in the first half and led by 9 at the half 38-29. The Hodags led by as many as 20 in the second half before Antigo began to sink threes and close the gap before the Hodags would play a bit better defense, shoot and make free throws down the stretch to win the last game before the playoffs begin with an 81-67 win.

Red Robin plans to bring Donatos to about 120 locations in 2021.
When Red Robin contacted Donatos Pizza roughly two years ago, the Ohio-based brand, understandably, proceeded with some caution. The chain was deep into its own growth prospects and recalled a brief, yet erratic run under the colossal umbrella of McDonald’s Corporation. Donatos, founded in 1963 when Ohio State sophomore Jim Grote bought a small pizza shop in Columbus, Ohio, from a seminarian for $1,300, was acquired by the fast-food giant in 1999. At the time, McDonald’s was exploring life outside burgers. It made an investment in Chipotle a year earlier that helped the fast casual grow from 14 locations to nearly 500 within seven years. It also bought Boston Market in May 2000.
