The officer noticed Cooper was drunk and told her not to leave.

Posted: Jul 17, 2021 4:36 PM Posted By: Lorraine Dechter REDDING, Calif. – Friday night a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and a driver’s license checkpoint was held on the 2200 block of Benton Drive in Redding between 6:30 and 10:00 p.m. The checkpoint resulted in one arrest for DUI. The man arrested was 36-year-old Robert Moats of Redding. 566 vehicles went through the checkpoint and were screened by the Redding Police Department. Three drivers were cited for driving on a suspended license, and two for driving without licenses.
