According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, Rosé’s “R” recorded 282,674 copies in physical album sales and topped the daily album chart on the first day of release on March 16. On Gaon Music Chart, “R” ranked No. 1 on the daily Retail Album Chart for March 16 with 255,640 copies sold. According to YG Entertainment, the “R” physical album reached 510,000 copies in pre-orders to set a new record for a female K-pop solo artist. “Just to think of all those nights me and my team spent perfecting this physical album!! K-pop boy band Seventeen will hold their online concert later this month. The idol group will be kicking off the new year with the 2021 Seventeen Online Concert IN-COMPLETE slated on Jan. 23 at 5 p.m. (Philippine time). At the concert, Seventeen will be performing more than 20 songs. Tickets are priced at 54,500 won ($50.13) for high definition multi-view with one main and three concept screens available only for members of the Seventeen global official fan club “Carat” and 49,500 won ($49.53) for high definition single view with one main screen. Seventeen ended 2020 on a high note as their two albums sold a combined total of 2.12 million copies.
