Is anyone else amazed that January 2021 is very nearly history? Sheltering in place has distorted my sense of time; some days go on forever while others fly by with such speed that I have to double-check the calendar to prove they happened. Well, such is life during a pandemic, I suppose.
For the long days that seem to last for weeks, I’ve noticed that a contributing factor is the weather. I talked about this last week in my column about color, how the large sweep of grays and browns affects my mood. As it turns out, color therapy has been just the thing to rewire my brain, and that is why I’m highlighting books about art this week. It also happens that National Inspire Your Heart with Art Day takes place in January, so let’s celebrate
