Four drug peddlers and nine illegal gamblers were arrested by the Bulacan police in a separate operation conducted on Sunday, June 6.
Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe, Bulacan police director, identified those who were arrested as Chrismel De Juan; Norjannah Mayo, both from Saog, Marilao; Danilo Danao alias Danica Bakla of Longos, Pulilan; and Arvin Fernando alias Abat of Tibagan, San Miguel, all in the province of Bulacan.
A total of 19 sachets of shabu and buy-bust money were recovered and turned over to the Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office.
A series of anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by joint operatives of the Hagonoy police, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, resulted in the arrest of nine illegal gamblers.

In an order on May 13, 2021, the IATF has directed the PCSO to ensure strict compliance to health and safety protocols and the observance of minimum public health standards.
In a separate resolution, the IATF has allowed the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to conduct in-person assessments for household service workers (HSWs) in places under MECQ.
However, the IATF clarified that the conduct of the activity is subject to conditions, such as said in-person assessments shall be held only in TESDA Training Institutions and in-person assessments remain prohibited in private assessment centers.

CEBU CITY The police here have appealed to barangay officials to cooperate in the campaign against the rampant illegal Small Town Lottery (STL) operations.
The role of barangay officials in eradicating illegal STL operations are crucial since they have the information about the illegal numbers game happening in their areas, said Police Lt. Col. Wilbert Parilla, deputy director for operations of CCPO, in Cebuano.
“With the barangays’ help, our police and PROBE (Prevention, Restoration, Order, Beautification, and Enhancement) team would be able to respond to areas where illegal STLs are rampant,” Parilla told reporters Wednesday.
Police were recently told to intensify the campaign against STL operations that have become rampant in the cities of Cebu and Mandaue.
