Patrick Tse wants to continue acting as long as he lives

Patrick Tse (left) HIS passion for acting is so strong that veteran Hong Kong actor Patrick Tse (pic) declared he would not stop working until the day he dies, Sin Chew Daily reported. “Unless I die, I will continue filming, ” Tse, 84, told reporters at the 45th Hong Kong International Film Festival where his latest movie Time premiered recently. Film producer Gordon Lam praised Tse for his energy and work ethic despite his age. Lam pointed out that Tse had put up with days of 18-hour filming without complaining. “He can still handle both speaking and action roles. “It’s just that he would ask for egg tarts, beef noodles and Coca-Cola, ” he quipped, adding that Tse was a pleasant actor to work with.

Bates & Misons win big at Dulux Select Decorator Awards

CHARD painters and decorators have won two top awards at the Dulux Select Decorator Awards. Rachel Bates and Luke Watts, of Bates & Misons, have won the Adding Colour to People s Lives Category for their work transforming Pip s Railway Carriage Cafe in Lopenhead. Luke said: We did everything we could to ensure customers felt safe. We were able to bring members of the community together to transform the railway cafe safely, during such a difficult year and it’s fantastic to see our efforts recognised with this award.” Rachel also won the Wallpaper Project under £1,500 category, with judges saying her skills were a work of art .
