A young man in Maiduguri, Borno State, has alleged that authorities of two mega schools in the state sell admission slots to parents for as much as N15, 000 per slot.
He said many parents cannot pay the required money, thereby increasing the number of out-of-school children in the state.
According to him, the mega schools were built by the World Bank in pursuit of its Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) project for West Africa, to reduce the number of out-of-school children in the region.
