UPDATE 3-19-2021: The man who shot the dog has been arrested: Cesar Enrique Villela Hernandez, a 35-year-old Latin male, was arrested on March 18 for a felony warrant by the Animal Cruelty Unit and Southwest CRT/Deployment Unit for Cruelty to Non-Livestock/Torture following the investigation of the shooting of a dog at 2107 McDaniel Dr. This is documented on case number 036390-2021. Dallas police are seeking help in identifying a guy who walked into an auto body shop, pointed a gun at a dog, and shot it multiple times.

Black Restaurant Week, it s a culinary and cultural campaign celebrating the flavors of African American, African, and Caribbean cuisine. This 10-day showcase in Dallas will spotlight nearly a dozen Black-owned restaurants in Dallas. According to a release, it ll take place from March 12-March 21. Dallas restaurants confirmed include: Ten 01 Bistro The idea is to eat at these restaurants during the March 12-21 window. More are likely to be added.
