Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has re-hired
Rutu Gandhi as a partner in its financial regulatory practice (FRP) in Mumbai.
She had been with the firm since 2011 post-graduation from GNLU Gandhinagar but in December 2020 left as a principal associate and had briefly joined joined
Trilegal as counsel.
She advises on financial services regulation, regulatory representations and internal investigations, ongoing compliances and enforcement, according to a CAM press release, which added:

She also focuses on securities law enforcement and market conduct.

There are other vested lobbies that deliberately want to keep the legal profession backward and keep wages low and jobs limited for young lawyers. The only way to fight this is to create a counter-lobby and counter-narrative and directly target this Gang of 3 frustrating the entry of law firms: Ravi Shankar Prasad and Manan Mishra/BCI (ie. the Bihar lawyers and trial court lawyers lobby)+ SILF (i.e. desi law firm lobby)..Since the Modi sarkar is deadly afraid of toolkits , I am suggesting a toolkit below.
moderated as trollish Honest advice: don t go to an NLU. Go for Amity or GLC. Not only are studies easy, but you will have time to work part-time in your dad s chamber and get excellent experience, far superior to any NLU student. NLUs are far away from the city and are also strict on attendance. Children of some of the most eminent lawyers in Delhi have studied at Amity, such as Arun Jaitley and Mukul Rohatgi. As for GLC, children of A-list law firms in Mumbai have attended it. If you feel conscious about not having a brand name college, do an LLM abroad after you finish. There have been enough people at Amity and GLC who have been to good college abroad, especially those who have interned with Supreme Court judges and top lawyers (which I guess you can manage). You can even consider two LLMs: one from the UK and on from the US.
