Alati, In And Out
ALATi, the Mediterranean restaurant at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok has reopened for in-dining services. However for those who prefer eating at home, it unveils the Up the Road three-course set menus from France, Spain, Italy and Turkey. Priced at 990 baht, each set is cooked to order and is available as a takeaway or for delivery via Line Man and Foodpanda.

Much anticipated by food enthusiasts and restaurateurs, the Michelin Guide Thailand edition announced on Wednesday a selection of the country s best dining establishments, including six restaurants awarded two stars and 22 restaurants that received one star.
The event, held at Four Seasons Bangkok, also revealed 106 restaurants that received the Bib Gourmand recognition and 165 eateries with the Michelin Plate. Two newly-added awards the Michelin Guide Young Chef Award; the Michelin Guide Service Award were also presented.
A total of 34 Michelin stars were awarded to 28 restaurants in the guide s latest edition that covers Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Phang-Nga.
Michelin has announced its
2021 guide to Thailand, with news of one new two-star restaurant and three new one-star restaurants making the grade. Still no restaurants in Thailand have been awarded the highest accolade of three stars.
Contemporary French restaurant,
Chef’s Table, was promoted from one-star to two-star status, bringing the total number of two-star restaurants in the guide up to six.
Two new entries, modern French restaurant
Blue by Alain Ducasse, and
Cadence by Dan Bark
, which showcases Western and Asian cuisine, made the one-star listing. Sushi bar,
Sushi Masato, was promoted to star status from a bib gourmand. Nineteen other establishments retain their one-star rating, bringing the total one-star count to twenty two.
