Construction of a community housing village in Seoul is nearing completion.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government said recently the construction of the community housing village named Doseodang will be finished soon in Myeonmok-dong, Jungnang District, in eastern Seoul.
Community housing is a form of residence in which residents not only share community spaces but also seek common interests and solve common problems based on the community s own rules.

The Moon Jae-in administration is being hit for alleged ethical lapses of high-level officials and nominees for ranking posts.
Criticism is stronger as the Moon government has been claiming to advocate fairness and transparency since its inauguration.
Byeon Chang-heum, former CEO of the Korea Land & Housing Corp. (LH) and the nominee for the minister of land, infrastructure and transport, has been hit by the opposition and civic groups for some remarks he made regarding an accident at Guui Station in Seoul in 2016, where a subcontracted worker surnamed Kim, 19, was killed by a subway train while fixing a safety door on a metro platform.
