COLOMBO (News 1st): “Ït is our responsibility to create a society that is closely linked to our religion and the temple, instead of allowing the society and the new generations to distance themselves from religion,” Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said.
“As Buddhists I believe it is a must to attend Dhamma school on Sundays” he added.
“Otherwise, children will grow up without religious qualities. Society will lose that quality as well. It will create a distance between us and the temple” the Prime Minister said.
