University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Athletics STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP women’s basketball team scored just three points in the first quarter and lost to UW-Oshkosh 67-40 on Friday night at Quandt Fieldhouse. Taylor Greenheck led the Pointers with nine while freshman Sierra Raine had eight points and five rebounds. The Pointers, now 2-4, will travel to River Falls on Wednesday.   The UWSP men’s basketball team has dropped five in a row after a 86-66 loss at Oshkosh on Friday night. Garrett Nelson had 22 points and Philip Flory had 15 points and seven rebounds. The Pointers, now 1-5, will host River Falls on Wednesday.

Watch the video in the player above.This is just one of many reported instances of fallen trees, vehicle collisions and power outages as a result of Tuesday night s storm.
