The fact it stars Oscar favourite Frances McDormand (mainstay of the Coen Brothers movies and Best Actress winner for Fargo and Three Billboards) will also not hurt its chances. Another plus point in its favour is that it is based on a true story – a tale of women forced into a life on the road after the great financial crash of 2008.
