Sen. Chip Curry, a Democrat from Belfast, called the death of 3-year-old Maddox Williams both heartbreaking and appalling and noted that three other children died last month. Maine DHHS had been involved at least a couple of times with Maddox s parents before he died from blunt force trauma. His father was in jail at the time of his death. His mother is charged with murder.
