to

The
renowned
actress
best
known
for
her
role
in
Tamil
daily
soap
Pandian
Stores,
died
by
suicide
in
a
hotel
room
in
Chennai s
Nazarathpettai
on
December
9,
2020.
A
few
media
reports
allege
that
Hemanth
was
upset
with
the
actress
for
enacting
a
scene
in
her
show.

quoted
Assistant
Commissioner
of
Police
Sudarshan
as
saying, Hemanth
did
not
like
a
scene
she
had
enacted
on
TV.
On
the
day
she
died,
he
had

a
coward
to
take
her
own
life.

actress
died

suicide

room
at

am
after
shooting
at
the

Studios.

police
are
currently
investigating
the
case
to

unanswered
questions
regarding
the
reason
behind
her
death.

her

have
been
speculations
regarding
Chitra s

friend
Sharanya
Turadi
replacing
her
as
Mullai
in
Pandian
Stores.
However,
there
is
no
official
confirmation
regarding
Reportedly, Chitras mother was not happy with Hemanth Kumar and many times has requested her to divorce him. A few of her friends have also alleged that Hemanth was an alcoholic and a possessive person, who was pressurizing Chitra time and again for working with her male co-stars.
