âNine new sculptures were placed in downtown Fenton last week. They include âSixth Fireâ by Cynthia McKean, âKaleidoscopeâ by Pam Reithmeier, âTriathlonâ by Todd Kime and âSurelyâ by D.W. Martin, âWomen Ironworkâ and âThe Four Windsâ both by Mike Sohikian, âPower Outageâ by D.W. Martin, Annâs Arborâ by Todd Kime and âRiseâ by James Oleson.
John Strayer, chair of the sculpture selection committee, said these sculptures will remain in Fenton for one year. The Midwest Sculpture Initiative runs a program in which municipalities can rent artwork for a year and have the option to buy the pieces. Behind Your Design created a brochure and map for a walking tour of all the sculptures in downtown Fenton.

They kick off their opening celebrations this Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 5. They’ll be open the rest of the summer with a new yoga series, plus full bloom in late June/early July. They also offer peaceful gardens, bird feeders, exotic trees and plants, a Zen garden, fountains, and many small sitting spaces. The Summerhouse Lavender Farm says,
