A British man jailed in Singapore for breaking coronavirus protocols by refusing to wear a face mask was released on Thursday and will be deported, the country's prison department said.
SINGAPORE - Briton Benjamin Glynn is preparing to get deported after he was released from prison on Wednesday (Aug 18). The 40-year-old former recruitment consultant was sentenced to six weeks' jail on Wednesday after he was convicted on four charges. District Judge Eddy Tham found him guilty of two charges under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act, as well as one.
