The Gananoque Lions Club is going hi-tech starting March 22, when the club will launch an exciting new monthly online 50/50 draw.
Funds raised from the 50/50 draws will allow the Gananoque Lions Club to continue to provide assistance for all its worthy community causes.

The 50/50 donations will be used locally by the club to support the many good works in the Gananoque area. These include, but are not limited to, minor sports, youth camps, student scholarships, children with physical challenges, civic improvements, community beautifications and events, the Gananoque Food Bank as well as vision awareness, diabetes, childhood cancer, hunger, and the environment. The equine arena in the University Teaching and Outreach Center (UTOC) on the University of Minnesota Crookston Campus will be named the Charles H. Casey Equine Arena in honor of the former Chancellor and U of M Regent.
The All-University Honors Committee met and concluded in favor of the nomination by UMN President Emeritus Robert Bruininks, UMN Crookston Chancellor Emeritus Donald Sargeant and current Chancellor Mary Holz-Clause, Assistant to the Chancellor Judith Neppel, retired and UMN Crookston Athletic Director Stephanie Helgeson. This recommendation, approved by the UMN Board of Regents, was approved last month.
