MedAdvisor inks deal with Priceline owner to crank up vaccine rollout

Getting vaccinated at the local pharmacy may become quicker following a deal between ASX-listed MedAdvisor, which specialises in electronic bookings for medical appointments, and Priceline.
Melbourne-based MedAdvisor has signed a $2.5 million deal with the owner of Priceline pharmacies to use its software to decrease administration time.
The deal comes as pharmacists this week began administering the AstraZeneca vaccine, with those aged between 18 and 39 permitted to book in at mass vaccination hubs from Friday.
“We could probably take off a minimum of five minutes at least from each vaccination,” said Robert Read, chief executive of MedAdvisor.
