Police arrest burglary suspects on roof of Chico Marketplace
Some burglary attempts at the Chico Marketplace on Friday are being attributed to the same trio of suspects.

CHICO, Calif. – Two men and a minor were arrested for suspicion of committing a burglary after Chico police officers say they caught them on the roof of the Chico Marketplace.

HomeGoods, Petco, and Burlington are all on the list. Representatives with Chico Marketplace said HomeGoods will open in March, Petco is slated to open in the spring, and Burlington in the summer of 2021. Burlington, HomeGoods, and Petco will offer one-stop shopping for top quality designer fashion, distinctive home fashions, and everything your pet will need at incredible prices , said Chico Marketplace s Senior General Manager, Natasha Shelton.

Two women including one juvenile were arrested Sunday after police say they shoplifted in the Chico Marketplace area.

CHICO, Calif. - Two women, including one juvenile were arrested Sunday after police say they shoplifted near the Chico Marketplace area.
Police say it started at around noon when officers say they got calls about two women shoplifting at the 1900 block of East 20th St.
Around an hour later, another call came in this time at the Target parking lot. A woman called the police and told them two women had stolen her purse. She later recovered her purse, officers arrived and took a 16 and 18-year-old into custody, both female.
