Facebook Share A new movie filmed in Syracuse is out in time for Mother’s Day with a top score on Rotten Tomatoes. “Paper Spiders,” a mother-daughter drama starring Emmy-nominated actress Lili Taylor (“Say Anything,” “Mystic Pizza”) and Stefania LaVie Owen (”The Carrie Diaries”), was released in select theaters nationally Friday (May 7, 2021). The film is not showing on the big screen in Central New York, but it’s also available today for rent or purchase on Video on Demand (VOD) / Digital platforms like Amazon and Apple iTunes.

Rotella, who has collected and dontated shoes for nine years straight, set a lofty goal of 20,000 pairs this year. He beat that by more than 3,000, collecting a whopping 23,187.
