Stonewall RCMP officer charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm

On December 17, 2020, 27-year-old Cst. Sasha Manj of the Stonewall RCMP detachment, was charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm in connection to an incident that occurred in February of this year.
Police say that on February 20, 2020, at approximately 4:30 pm, the female officer was responding to an emergency call for service in the Stonewall area.
Investigation determined that Cst. Manj was driving a fully marked police vehicle with lights and sirens activated when she entered the intersection at Racetrack Road and Highway 1, ultimately ending up in a collision with two other vehicles. The occupants of the other vehicles, along with Cst. Manj, received minor injuries and all were treated and released at the scene.

A Manitoba police officer has been charged with dangerous driving after a three-vehicle collision earlier this year.
According to a Friday news release, Const. Sasha Manj, an RCMP officer with the Stonewall detachment, was responding to an emergency call around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 20.
Manj s police vehicle, with its lights and siren on, entered the intersection at Race Track Road and Highway 1, near the western edge of Winnipeg, RCMP said.

When she entered the intersection there was a crash with two other vehicles. The people in the other vehicles received minor injuries as well as Manj. They were all treated at the scene and released.
