Big names in NSW property to put consumers first 31 March 2021 Following the recent formation of the New South Wales government’s Property Services Expert Panel, the inaugural chair has said consumers will be winners of a real estate regulation overhaul. The Property Services Expert Panel is a brainchild of the NSW Liberals and Nationals, and was announced last week as providing “a new voice for our real estate sector” by the state Minister for Better Regulation and Innovation, Kevin Anderson. He said the panel’s creation signals “a new approach to how the government will engage with the critical sector”, which contributes more than $100 billion to the state economy and employs in excess of 37,000 people.
