A BRIDE was granted a special lockdown licence to marry her life-long sweetheart on her 50th birthday as she battles a rare and life-limiting neurological condition. Charlotte Drake and Iain Belsham, of Waterfoot, first met in 1995 when they both worked at a packaging company in Norfolk and fell madly in love. At the time, Iain was married, but he knew in Charlotte he had found the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and she felt the same. They became friends on Facebook, and 20 years later they met again after Iain sent his condolences when Charlotte s beloved greyhound Jet died.
