CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A house fire closed part of a road in north Charlotte Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out at a home off LaSalle Street near Beatties Ford Road.
The Charlotte Fire Department tweeted video of the fire around 8:45 a.m.

24-Year-Old Man Shot, Killed In East Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives say an investigation is underway after a 24-year-old man was fatally shot in east Charlotte Tuesday night.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 10 p.m. on McAlway Road near the Value-Mart. Upon arrival, officers located a man with a gunshot wound.
MEDIC transported the victim, identified as Laquintin Marquis McManus, to the hospital where he later was pronounced dead.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
