Lego, Dirt and Unicorn Sundaes, smash cakes and Brett s Bombers are just a few of the kid inspired items you ll find on the menu at Charlee s Ice Cream, that just opened in Camillus, New York. Ben and Kristin Hussong opened Charlee s, named after their daughter Charlotte, when they noticed there wasn t an ice cream shop in their town. They have 4 kids and money was tight with Ben going to law school while Kristen worked as a nurse. Going for ice cream was an experience for our family, said Kristin. It was one of the few things we could afford to do and so it became very special to us. Over the years, the kids have grown to love family ice cream nights.
