Regional Medical Center CEO Charlie Button has announced his resignation due to health issues. RMC released the following press release this morning: “It is with a heavy heart that we update the community that our current Chief Executive Officer, Charlie Button, will be resigning from his position within the next two weeks. His resignation is a result of personal health challenges Charlie has experienced over the past year. He had planned on leading our healthcare institution for many more years into the future but needs to step back and focus on his personal health and well-being.
