ITV s The Bay broadcast the first episode of the eagerly anticipated new series on Wednesday. The series follows on from the dramatic finale of the first, which saw Morven Christie starring as Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong, suspended after hiding evidence from the investigation into the disappearance of twins. In the episode the detectives are investigating the death of a man who was shot in front of his son by a contract killer.
