Connor Fearon has been charged with raping a 20-year-old woman on Tan Yard Lane, Catterall.
He is also charged with carrying out a sex attack on the woman and making threats to kill her.
The cases were sent to Preston Crown Court where Fearon will appear on February 20. He will remain in custody until then.
Prosecutor Sarah Heywood successfully applied for the remand.
He is a mechanic by trade and his partner is pregnant by him.
