PUTNEY â Although her dad had turned over the tongs to her about five years ago, Sarah Tuff, the main rib flipper at Curtisâs All-American Bar-B-Q in Putney, knew she could call on her pop whenever she had a question about the business.
But last December, Curtis Tuff died at 82 years old, leaving Sarah to carry on the tradition with her fiancé, David Wright. He touched so many people, said Sarah on Monday.
When people learn her dad passed away, they are eager to share stories with her about Curtis and his 40 years of tending the fire, the first time they saw the blue bus and the first time they tasted his slow-roasted chicken or ribs.

th Street Diner in Bowling Green has announced the diner will be closed Wednesday due to low staffing issues.
Currently, the grill cook has worked 10 days in a row.
William Parker, the son of the owner, Lisa Parker, who is currently battling cancer, says he is working all he can for for mom while she battle cancer.
“It’s all I can do. I do it for one person. That woman has fought 20 years with the same cancer, and it’s slowly killing her,” said William Parker.

The Garnock Court resident also admitted possessing and supplying class C drug Etizopam in the Princess Street Hostel on May 8 2019. She pled guilty to a thrid charge of using a taxi from Crosshouse Hospital to the Victoria street Hostel without paying or intending to pay the £25 fare on August 25 that year. Defence solicitor Peter Murray said Duff accepted these were “serious matters” but that “significant drug problems led to her chaotic lifestyle” and she was no longer using.
