RTE viewers said that they were delighted as Jen Sheahan s late 1800s artisan cottage in Dublin won Home Of The Year.
Tonight was the final episode of the new season of Home of the Year and the judges came together to choose their favourite house.

The judges said that the homes this year were outstanding
The seventh series of Home of the Year saw the three judges Hugh Wallace, Suzie McAdam and Amanda Bone visit twenty-one homes across the country but chose Jen s home as the ultimate winner.
The other finalists for this seasons show were David O’Brien s black bespoke home in Co. Cork, Kate O Driscoll s restored and modernised period home in Dublin, Saara McLoughlin s quirky semi-detached house in Limerick, Sally Ann Mitchell s cottage in Co. Dublin, Kevin Desmond s restored period home in Dublin city and Tanya Lee Conroy s modernist architectural home in Co. Galway
