The Dyer County Health Department recently announced it will be offering walk-in options for individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Appointments are still available but not required.
Beginning May 10, COVID-19 vaccinations will be available at the Dyer County Health Department on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For questions, individuals can call the Dyer County Health Department at 731-285-7311.
Tennesseans age 16 and up are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Individuals seeking a COVID-19 vaccine can schedule an appointment at www.vaccinate.tn.gov, visit the Dyer County Health Department for a walk-in appointment, or search www.vaccinefinder.org to find a local vaccine provider.

On Friday evening, Dyer County Mayor Chris Young announced the county-wide facial covering mandate, which was set to expire Saturday at 11:59 p.m., has been extended through April 28, 2021 at 11:59.
The Dyer County Health Department is now booking appointments for individuals in Phase 1B of the Tennessee COVID-19 Vaccination Plan and those aged 75 and up who wish to receive COVID-19.
